Youth Connections

WHAT DO WE DO?

Youth Connections is a program that supports young people to continue with, or return to education and training. A Youth Connections worker can:

  • Assist you to overcome some of life’s difficulties
  • Work with you to identify learning and training goals that you would like to achieve.
  • Connect you with relevant community agencies/groups and supports.

WE CAN HELP TO:

  • Keep Learning

Would you like to know more about different ways you can continue your learning? Are you having trouble staying at school? Have you stopped going to school?

  • Keep Developing

Would you like some support to make decisions about your future? Are you unsure about ‘where to from here?’ Would you like to ‘get on better’ with your friends and family?

  • Keep Connecting

Would you like to be more involved in sports, music or creative activities in your area? Would you like to be more involved in your community? Would you like to connect with other young people?

It is a Certerlink Approved Activity.

CAN I PARTICIPATE?

Youth Connections can help if you are aged 14-18 and:

  • You have not been to school for a while
  • You recently stopped going to school
  • You only go to school sometimes
